Unit Title: Physics for beginners II

Prerequisite: A pass in Year 11 examination or equivalent and PHY301

Semester 1: Not offered             Semester 2: Offered on F-F mode

This unit builds on the physics concepts learnt in Year 11 high school education and is a continuation of PHY301. The unit is designed to help students develop strong foundational knowledge of physics content to prepare them for post-secondary studies. Topics covered in this unit include Ideal gases, heat and temperature, thermal properties of materials, charges, electric fields, capacitance, electricity, d.c. circuits, magnetic fields, magnetic induction, particles physics and communication.
