Unit Title: Basic mathematics for social sciences

Prerequisite: A pass in Year 11 examination or equivalent

This unit is designed to help students develop and acquire foundational knowledge on various mathematical and statistic concepts to enhance their understanding to cope with arts-related subjects. Topics covered in this unit include, exponential & surds, equations & inequalities, analytical geometry, finance, growth and decay, functions, trigonometry functions, and measurements and statistics.
