Unit Title: Basic calculus and statistics

Prerequisite: A pass in Year 11 examination or equivalent

This course offers skills and knowledge in data analysis, normal distribution, sets and operations on probability and introduction to differentiation and integration, logarithm, and exponentials functions. This will include collecting, organizing, and representing data, calculation of central measure and standard deviation, normal distribution, etc. sets theory, operations on probability, limits and derived formula, techniques of differentiation (power/ product rule), indefinite, definite integrations and applications, and exponential and logarithm functions etc.… . It will also emphasis the use of excel and other free software to analyse real data.
