Unit Title: Short stories and novels

Prerequisite: Nil

Semester 1: Not offered             Semester 2: Offered on F-F mode

In this unit, students will study short stories and a novel. Primarily, literature is meant to be read for pleasure and therefore the works should be read in that spirit. Subsequently, we will look at the craft of the writers to understand how they create interest, draw up some unforgettable characters and leave us with some valuable insights into human character and societies. The lessons are interactive and students will be encouraged to share their insights and viewpoints.
