Diploma of Teaching Early Childhood Education
(i) Have complete F6, or equivalent, with grade 5 in English and Maths; or successfully completed USP preliminary program with a minimum of a B grade in English, and an aggregate GPA of 2.5 and above; or
(ii) Have completed F7 or equivalent, or USP Foundation or equivalent with a B grade in English and an overall GPA not more than 20 in the SPBEAEntering as an in-service candidate
(i) Must hold a Certificate in teaching (ECE) from SICHE or a recognized institution, and has a minimum teaching experience of 2 years or more; plus
(ii) One work reference and one character reference from the principal, career teacher, or a person in authority.
The diploma in the Teaching Early Childhood programme is yet to be reviewed so that its unit credit point is equivalent to the current credit system used at SOE.
