It also provides further insights into the science of ecology, linking biodiversity and conservation. The unit is designed to increase student’s awareness about the environmental issues, problems and appropriate solutions; and furthermore, to develop in them an attitude and behaviour that will set a framework to protect our unique and fragile ecosystem.
