Unit Title: Agriculture science II

Prerequisite: A pass in Year 11 examination or equivalent

Semester 1: Not offered              Semester 2: Offered on F-F mode 

This unit introduces students to the study of animal production. It defines basic concepts and provides foundational knowledge on various topics under the four main components which include, animal production, animal protection, farm structure and equipment, and farm economics and marketing. The aim of this unit is to help students develop strong foundational knowledge on these topics to support more in-depth study in the future. Part of the learning requires students to conduct field practicals and laboratory sessions which are designed to help them develop relevant knowledge and skills that are essential to enhance animal production and protection.
